APD announces ‘Speed a Little. Lose a Lot.’ traffic safety program

The Asheville Police Department is joining agencies across North Carolina in the “Speed a Little. Lose a Lot.” traffic safety campaign. The North Carolina Governor’s Highway Safety Program will run from Monday, March 30 to Sunday, April 5.

Ciara Frederick, 34, is charged with first-degree murder and two counts of assault with a deadly weapon.
