School is back in session, which means many more busses will be on the roads. Stay safe out there!
Students in Asheville and Buncombe County are returning to school today.
A specially called Joint School Board Meeting & Strategic Plan Retreat is set to take place Aug. 22 at the Harrah’s Cherokee Center – Asheville.
Law enforcement share social media safety tips for parents of children heading back to class
Buncombe County Schools buses take about 10,000 students to school a day
Parents may schedule appointments at the Buncombe County Department of Public Health or take kids during walk-in hours
Parents will be able to see where their children’s buses are in real time.
The Buncombe County Sheriff’s Office is helping collect school supplies for students ahead of the new year.
Henderson, Polk and Rutherford counties returned to school on Aug. 12.
