Help from above: National Guard rescues 119 people, Operation Airdrop to begin donation flights

Communities across the nation are rallying to direct help to North Carolina in the wake of flooding from Hurricane Helene. When it comes to rescue and relief operations, many of those efforts are coming from above. Two groups in particular doing some of the heavy lifting are National Guard units and Texas-based Operation Airdrop.
