Gwyneth Janeen O’Kelly, 68, of Asheville passed away Tuesday, October 8, 2024 at Mission Hospital in Asheville, NC.
Born January 21, 1956 in Buncombe County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Alvin and Aline Burrell. She was a graduate of North Buncombe High School. Janeen proudly served in the U.S. Air Force and drove a truck for a good portion of her career. Of her many enjoyments in life, she liked to crochet and make jewelry and keeping to her Baptist faith.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her grandparents, Dorsey and Willy Edwards. Surviving is her spouse of 25 years, Larry Owen O’Kelly; daughter, Aleene Rice of Asheville, NC, grandson, Dakota Stanley of Leicester, NC; siblings, Charles Henry Zibelin, Mary Beth Zibelin, and Deborah Robinson of Weaverville, NC; and niece, Dorsey Coleman.
