ASHEVILLE, N.C. (828newsNOW) — Now that Election Day has come and gone, it’s time to pick up the political signs.

Signs may be taken to the Curbie facility at 116 N. Woodfin Ave. in Asheville for disposal and recycling. Two carts will be available to make the process as easy as possible. Just drop the signs and stakes in their designated carts.

In Hendersonville, the Henderson County Environmental Programs and Parks and Recreation are partnering to provide a campaign sign recycling drop-off site in the Jackson Park House parking lot through Wednesday, Nov. 20.

There will be one dumpster for campaign signs and one for metal stakes. All metal stakes are accepted, but please only drop off corrugated plastic signs.

Candidates may pick up their signs at any time and please only recycle the political signs that you have permission to collect.
