ASHEVILLE, N.C. (828newsNOW) — Authorities are renewing public interest in finding a woman as the third anniversary of her disappearance approaches.

The Asheville Police Department is asking for the public’s help in solving the disappearance of Bethany Collins Buckles, whose current age is 50.

Buckles was reported missing on Nov. 20, 2021. Her family phoned the authorities after Buckles failed to return to her house on Ravencourt Lane in South Asheville. Her car was located in Swannanoa during the initial search.

Buckles is 5 feet, 6 inches tall and was weighed about 200 pounds when last seen. She has blue eyes and either blonde or dark-colored hair. Buckles is known to have multiple tattoos, including a flower on her left ankle.

“We urge the public to come forward with any information they may have. Even the smallest detail could provide the link that helps us locate Bethany,” The APD wrote in a news release.
