Celebrate the resiliency of “Beer City, U.S.A.” with Asheville Beer Week. The event will feature beer tastings, flavor debuts, live music and other fun events all over the city, all week long.

Black Mountain Beautification Committee’s Garden Sale — Town Square and Visitor’s Center parking lot

Specialty Tropicals, Tufa Things and Useful Plants Nursery will be among the 20 vendors offering plants and garden-related items at the 19th annual event happening 2-7 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m.-9:30 p.m. Saturday.

Saluda Arts Festival – 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saluda, N.C.

The 20th annual Saluda Arts Festival will be held this Saturday. The celebration will bring over 90 artists from all over Western North Carolina and upstate South Carolina, including a few Saluda locals, to showcase their wares. Live music and activities for kids will be provided at McCreery Park during the event.

RAD Art Market – Pine Gate Renewables parking lot, 130 Roberts St.

River Arts District artists will be set up with tents, tables and tons of art at the RAD Art Market. Booths will be up all over the parking lot of Pine Gate Renewables in the heart of the RAD with several art studios within walking distance.

Student bands and small acts from Asheville Music School will perform their 11th annual Sound Effects Benefit Concert this Sunday. Expect to rock out to Minør, groove to Dr. Funky Squirrel and jam with Liminal Spaces. The family-friendly event will also feature games, food trucks and other fun activities.
