ASHEVILLE, N.C. (828newsNOW) —
A man and six vehicles were hit in a shooting at Pisgah View Apartments on Granada Street in Asheville late Tuesday night, police said.
Officers responded to reports of gunshots about 11:30 p.m., the Asheville Police Department said in a news release. While canvassing the area, officers located 14 shell casings and six vehicles that bullets had damaged.
Officers also learned a man, who has not been identified, was at Mission Hospital with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to the ankle, the news release said.
“The victim told officers that the shooting occurred at Pisgah View Apartments,” a police spokesperson said.
