Tyler Christopher, an award-winning Elvis Tribute Artist, will soon bring his signature showmanship to the Asheville stage with “The Return of the King: An Unrivaled Tribute to Elvis.” The Elvis Tribute Artist has been performing the music of Elvis Presley for nearly 20 years, winning awards and placing in Elvis competitions all over the country, including Memphis, Tennessee and Elvis’s hometown, Tupelo, Mississippi.

4 women charged in Swannanoa animal abuse case set for September trial
In May 2026, four employees of a Swannanoa dog kennel were charged in the deaths of two dogs and the starvation of several other animals. This September, all four women are slated for trial at the Buncombe County Courthouse.
