ASHEVILLE, N.C. (828newsNOW) — Braiiiiiins! The South Slope district is calling all the zombies of Asheville to converge for a zombie-fied bar and business crawl this weekend.
The South Slope Zombie Walk/Crawl will be held at participating South Slope establishments from 5-10 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 1.
Walk like a zombie
The South Slope Zombie Crawl will take place all over the district. Businesses will be decorated in creepy Halloween/Day of the Dead fashion for the event and breweries will be offering specialty zombie food and drink specials.
The event is family-friendly and will offer several activities for undead parents and kids alike, including zombie face-painting, zombie costume contests for individuals, families and dogs and a free Zombie Dance Party at 7 p.m. at Asheville Yards.
