Four exhibits, many artists

A Blue Spiral press release provided background details on the four exhibits:

“Spectrum”

“‘Spectrum,’ showing in the Main Level Gallery, brings together a vivid array of works that explore the expressive energy of color across multiple media. From bold, abstract paintings to opalescent glass, to chromatic clay, the exhibition celebrates the emotional and visual impact of color as a unifying theme.”

“Heidi Tarver: The Story So Far”

“In the Small Format Gallery, ‘Heidi Tarver: The Story So Far’ offers a contemplative look at Tarver’s patterned vessels; Stained slips are stenciled onto flat sheets of clay and later formed into thinly constructed three-dimensional objects.”

“Chris Liberti + Will Dickert”

“‘Chris Liberti + Will Dickert’ share the Showcase Gallery in a compelling two-person show that explores the impermanence of time and place. Liberti’s keenly observed paintings and Dickert’s sculptural ceramic forms offer a dialogue between surface texture and material experimentation — each piece reflecting a deliberate voice authored from the artist’s hand.”

“Field of Vision”

“Finally, ‘Field of Vision’ in the Lower Level Gallery presents a curated selection of landscape-inspired works by three painters and two sculptors. Each artist reinterprets the natural world through bucolic scenes, mountain ranges and the materials drawn from these environments.

Together, these exhibitions highlight Blue Spiral 1’s ongoing commitment to presenting exceptional contemporary fine art and craft from the region and beyond,” the release concluded.
