ASHEVILLE, N.C. (828newsNOW) —
Police have a suspect in the theft of a trailer from Asheville Humane Society last weekend, but they need help locating him and the trailer that was loaded with more than $1,500 worth of donated pet supplies and other items.
Joshua Allen Forrest, 25, is charged with felony larceny in the theft of the trailer and the goods on June 23, Asheville police said in a news release.
Forrest is described as a white male standing 5 feet, 11 inches tall and weighing about 160 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes and a tattoo of a spiderweb on his forehead, police said in the release. He lives in Clyde and is believed to be driving a red, single-cab Chevrolet pickup truck that was used in the theft of the trailer.
A spokesperson for Asheville Humane Society says they’re taking donations for all of the supplies they lost in the incident. The nonprofit is currently accepting dry dog and cat food and monetary donations. CLICK HERE for more information on how to donate.
