BLACK MOUNTAIN, N.C. (828newsNOW) — This fall, the Black Mountain Blues Society will collaborate with newly-remodeled music venue White Horse Black Mountain to bring three days of blues music to downtown Black Mountain, N.C.

The event, the Black Mountain Blues Experience, will be held from Sept. 25-27, 2026, at White Horse, 105 Montreat Road, Black Mountain.

Black Mountain has a long history with blues music, where historic juke joints like Roseland Gardens hosted artists including Bessie Smith and Etta Baker. The new rendition of the festival will honor the musical history of the town while celebrating the blues artistry of today.
