HENDERSONVILLE, N.C. (828newsNOW) — A 15-year-old Asheville boy was injured in a shooting late Tuesday night at a fast-food restaurant in Hendersonville, and police are searching for suspects, according to the Hendersonville Police Department.
Officers responded at about 11:18 p.m. July 1 to reports of gunfire at the Cook Out at 2546 Chimney Rock Road.
Police said the teen had been shot and left the scene before officers arrived. He was taken to Mission Hospital in Asheville, where he was listed in stable condition.
Detectives are working to identify and apprehend suspects based on eyewitness accounts. No arrests have been announced.
