William Arnold Graham, age 85 of Brevard, passed away July 14th, 2024 at Transylvania Regional Hospital in Brevard after a brief battle with cancer.
Bill was born February 23rd, 1939 in Bremen Indiana to Clarence and Holice Graham. He married his wife of 50 years, Dorothy Beebe, on September 12th, 1974 and raised their combined 13 children in LaPorte Indiana before moving to Western North Carolina. They moved to Texas and then South Carolina before returning to their beloved mountains and settling in Brevard. Bill enjoyed working on cars and watching car and tractor shows on TV. He was a lifelong Notre Dame fan. Bill loved his family with all his heart, and his passion was spending time with his grandkids. He especially enjoyed playing with his great grandkids whenever they would visit.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents, his siblings Smedley and Helen, and his children Billy, Diane, Nora, Brian, Kent and Debra. He is survived by his wife Dorothy, his siblings Les (Gloria), MaryKay, and Margaret; his children Richard (Carmen), Albert, David (Dawn), Roy (Melanie), Tim (Greta), Robert and Nancy as well as 36 Grandchildren and numerous Great Grandchildren and Great-Great Grandchildren.
Bill was comforted in his final moments by his son and daughter-in-law Tim and Greta and by granddaughters Ashley and Abbie. Special thanks to daughter Nancy and granddaughters Ashley and Abbie who spent countless hours by his side making sure he was well taken care of and had everything he needed.
