Keith enjoyed sitting on his front porch in his rocking chair looking over the French Broad River, his flower gardens, and all the beauty that the Lord created. Many hours he enjoyed listening to WGCR Station, especially their gospel music and preaching. He was an avid hunter, which he enjoyed with his hunting friends from the Grove.
He served his community for over twenty years of dedicated service as a member of the Balsam Grove Volunteer Fire Department, many years of which he served as Assistant Fire Chief.
After finishing his education in the Transylvania County School System, he joined the US Army. After the army he attended Western Carolina University and received his certification and license in water treatment. He retired from Ecusta Corporation after thirty-eight years of service.
He was a loving husband, father and brother. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends and community. Family would like to thank their friends and neighbors for their prayers, food, cards and phone calls during this very difficult time, especially Tracy Morris and Steven Ledford for being there for the whole family.
