ASHEVILLE, N.C. (828newsNOW) — John McClung Roofing (JMR), a family-owned roofing company serving Asheville and surrounding areas for more than two decades, is sponsoring the Year of Revival auction to support ongoing Tropical Storm Helene recovery efforts.

The company, which specializes in residential and commercial roof replacements and repairs, offers financing, lifetime warranties and free online estimates. JMR is a CertainTeed ShingleMaster certified installer, allowing the company to provide premium asphalt shingles with extended warranties exclusive to certified installers. The business also specializes in metal and low-slope roofing.

“At JMR, the only thing that matters more to us than your roof is the people under it. From humble beginnings, we’ve grown into a thriving business — and giving back is part of who we are,” owner John McClung said.

JMR has a long history of local outreach, hosting an annual Backpack Giveaway for hundreds of families, supporting schools with every roof sold, and partnering with Hope Chest for Women during Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

“Community isn’t just something we serve, it’s something we’re a part of,” McClung said.

The business has also earned accolades, including Best of Asheville and Best of WNC.

The Year of Revival auction, organized by Marshall Relief Alliance, raises funds to assist residents still recovering from Helene’s damage. JMR said its sponsorship is part of a commitment to helping neighbors in need.

“We believe every home and every person matters, which is why we’re honored to support Marshall Relief Alliance in their ongoing recovery efforts through this auction,” McClung said.
