ASHEVILLE, N.C. (828newsNOW) — The “Color Me Asheville” fashion show was held this weekend at the Orange Peel, where models strutted the stage adorned in bombastic monochromatic outfits.

The event, a fundraiser for local charity BeLoved Asheville, raised over $20,000 through audience donations and a $5,000 match from Goodwill of Northwest North Carolina.

BeLoved Asheville received $20,000 at the “Color Me Asheville” event.

Models from the show are each representing a single color, assigned to each design team at the outset of the “Color Me” season. The colors this year were purple, blue, pink, green, yellow, red and brown.
