ASHEVILLE, N.C. (828newsNOW) —

How would you like to start a career as an artist by having more than 100,000 people very proudly walking around, showing off your work?

Now’s your chance, kid.

Buncombe County has put out the call for Buncombe County children (up to age 18) to submit designs for the 2-inch “I Voted” stickers and digital graphics that will be used for the Nov. 5, 2024, presidential election.

“‘I Voted’ must appear somewhere in the design, but the rest is up to you,” an announcement stated.

Any Buncombe County resident who is younger than voting age is eligible to participate by submitting logo artwork by July 12.

A selection committee will identify top designs and then the community will vote online from Aug. 1 to 18.

A winning design will be announced in September, and then stickers will be distributed to those who earn them by turning out to vote in November.

They note: “All artworks will become the property of Buncombe County Government.”
