ASHEVILLE, N.C. (828newsNOW) — A local business is turning on the water for free Saturday as cleanups from recent flooding continue around the Asheville area.

ZIPS Car Wash is offering a free car wash from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, Nov. 2, at all eight Asheville locations.

Customers are asked to enter wash code 8281 for a Free Basic Plus Car Wash. Complimentary vacuums are also back up and running.

“This is our small way of helping with the clean-up efforts for residents, and we hope that getting all of our eight locations back up and running restores some sense of normalcy to the community amid the ongoing Hurricane Helene relief efforts,” said Basem Aybef, Division Vice President – East, ZIPS Car Wash.

ZIPS is also caring for relief workers while in town with discounted car washes through the end of the year.

The car wash also participated in the Rising Together: WNC Hurricane Relief Radiothon on Wednesday with a $5,000 donation to benefit four local charities making a difference in Asheville.

“It’s our way of giving back to a community where we laid roots many years ago. Recently, Asheville voted us the best car wash in town, and we want to do everything we can to live up to that name,” said Rebecca Latacz, Chief Marketing Officer, ZIPS Car Wash.
