FLETCHER, N.C. (828newsNOW) — The destruction from Hurricane Helene led to many across Western North Carolina losing their jobs. A Valentine’s week career fair is here to help.

The Hearts & Hires Job & Resource Fair will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 12 at the Western North Carolina Agricultural Center.

The job fair was organized by the Mountain Area Workforce Development Board, an organization dedicated to serving the workforce in Buncombe, Henderson, Madison and Transylvania counties.
