The protest came as President Donald Trump was set to address a joint session of Congress on his turbulent first weeks in office. It was also the same day the Trump administration imposed 25 percent tariffs on Canadian and Mexican imports and doubled the tariff slapped last month on Chinese products to 20 percent.
