ASHEVILLE, N.C. (828newsNOW) — The Asheville Police Department is asking for the public’s help in finding a missing 16-year-old girl.
Nadiia Egypt Acosta was last seen about 10 p.m. Saturday, May 17, at her home in the Kensington Place Apartments, police said.
Acosta is described as standing 5 feet tall and weighing about 180 pounds. She has brown hair and hazel eyes and was likely wearing white Crocs.
Her family is concerned for her safety, Asheville police said in a news release.
