HENDERSONVILLE, N.C. (828newsNOW) — Henderson County will remember the lives lost in the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks on the World Trade Center later this week, with a ceremony in front of the county courthouse.
The ceremony will be held at 9 a.m., Friday, Sept. 11, 2026, at the Henderson County Courthouse, 200 N Grove St., Hendersonville, N.C.
The 9/11 memorial service will feature remarks from fire service, law enforcement and emergency management figures.
“Reverence, Remembrance, Reflection,” summarized Henderson County Chief Communications Officer Mike Morgan in a press release.
The service joins ceremonies scheduled in Asheville and Weaverville.
