ASHEVILLE, N.C. (828newsNOW) — Costco has resubmitted plans for its proposed store on Enka Heritage Parkway, the city of Asheville confirmed Monday.
The new plans are being processed by the city and were submitted under the project’s original application, according to Aspen Johnston, a city Planning Department technician.
The newly submitted plans are not yet available for public viewing but will be posted to the portal once they have been processed, Johnston said.
The resubmission comes as Costco continues to pursue plans for a new store on the Enka Heritage Parkway site.
The city did not immediately provide details about what has changed in the latest plans. 828newsNOW also has not yet been able to review the new documents.
The project remains subject to the city’s development review process. The resubmission does not mean the project has been approved.
