Answer: “You got the question, I got the answer,” owner David Creasman says confidently. Creasman has been in the jewelry business since he was 17, making a trustworthy name for himself from the very beginning.
What sets his family-owned business apart from the rest, he says, is that they do as much work as they can in-house. “We do everything on premises,” Creasman says. “We don’t send it out. We do send watch repairs out, but that’s it. We do everything here.”
He also says he makes sure to keep his prices reasonable.
“I know what things should be charged in this market due to the gold market and I try to keep it at least 25-30% less than any other jewelry.”
D.C. Creasman specializes in custom crafted jewelry, designer brand jewelry and they have on-site repair specialists.
D.C. Creasman Jewelers was established in 1979. David began his career when he was 17 years old and started out in a manufacturing jewelry store downtown Asheville and retail store in the Asheville Mall. From there, he opened his own jewelry store on Tunnel Road in a very small shop. He moved to his current location in 1992 and has a staff of 6. His mom Ramona Creasman, retired from Southern Bell, joined him along with his sister Lisa. Currently he has 4 designing jewelers, including himself to personally service the jewelry area with customers all along the southeast and further! It is not unusual for customers to drive specifically to get jewelry work done from Charlotte, Atlanta and many areas of Florida.
