Tyrell McGirt said in a press release. “As Asheville’s town square, Pack Square Park’s central location allows community members to easily walk, bike, or ride to the show. We’re excited to offer this annual movie series for people who want to spend time together outdoors.”
The event is sponsored by Au Pair in America.
Organizers suggested people bring cash for snacks, but not parking. City-owned lots on Marjorie and Valley streets will be free during the event. Local vendors will sell kettle corn and snow cones.
Families that arrive early can take advantage of the department’s Rec ‘n Roll Play Zone, with activities, prizes, games, music and more.
