MARION, N.C. (828newsNOW) — Tiffany Adonnus Sydnor, 34, and Corey Terrell Tate, 49, were reported by a family member to the McDowell County Sheriff’s Office in June 2026.
Sydnor was reported for engaging in an incestual relationship with her biological uncle, Tate, on June 12, 2026.
When MCSO Lieutenant Billie Brown investigated the claim, both parties admitted to the accusation and were charged with the crime.
Sydnor was booked into the McDowell County Detention Center under a $50,000 bond.
Tate, already incarcerated in the MCDC, was denied bond.
