SWANNANOA, N.C. (828newsNOW) — U.S. 70 was closed between Warren Wilson College Road and Sylvester Way on Saturday afternoon while crews battled a mulch fire, Swannanoa Fire & Rescue said.
According to several social media posts, a mulch yard in the area was burning about 2:30 p.m.
