ASHEVILLE, N.C. (828newsNOW) — A Buncombe County detention officer is no longer employed with the sheriff’s office following charges of driving while impaired and possession of an open container, officials said Tuesday.
According to the Buncombe County Sheriff’s Office, Detention Officer Tauqullia King was charged on June 13. The department was notified of the incident the same day.
