ASHEVILLE, N.C. (828newsNOW) — Firefighters responded to a structure fire early Tuesday morning on the campus of the University of North Carolina at Asheville, according to the Asheville Fire Department.
The fire was reported shortly after 2 a.m. in a one-story building with a basement that was being used as office space. The building was unoccupied at the time of the fire.
Crews have since cleared the scene, and the building has been turned over to UNCA police for further investigation.
