LEICESTER, N.C. (828newsNOW) — A missing cow that was reported stolen earlier this month has been found safe, according to the Buncombe County Sheriff’s Office.
Polly, a 5-year-old Dexter Cross heifer with dwarfism, was discovered Wednesday in a community pasture near the area where she disappeared in the Green Valley Road area of Leicester.
Authorities believe Polly was taken from her home around July 2.
