Man arrested in connection with June shooting, drugs seized at scene
The Asheville Police Department arrested and charged Brandon Norrelle Miller, 38, in connection with a shooting this past June at an Asheville apartment complex. During the arrest, Miller was found to be in possession of narcotics and handguns.

ASHEVILLE, N.C. (828newsNOW) — The Asheville Police Department arrested and charged Brandon Norrelle Miller, 38, in connection with a shooting this past June at an Asheville apartment complex. During the arrest, Miller was found to be in possession of narcotics and handguns.

Miller was charged with:
One felony count of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to inflict serious injury
Two felony counts of possession of firearm by felon
One felony count of discharging weapon into occupied dwelling or moving vehicle
One felony count of trafficking opium or heroin
One felony count of possession with intent to sell or deliver Schedule II
One felony count of possession with intent to sell or deliver Schedule IV
One felony count of felony possession Schedule IV
One felony count of maintain vehicle/dwelling/place for controlled substance
Two misdemeanor counts of possession of drug paraphernalia
One misdemeanor count of assault by pointing a gun
One misdemeanor count of go armed to terror of people
One misdemeanor count of second degree trespass
One misdemeanor count of injury to real property
Miller was booked into the Buncombe County Detention Facility under NO BOND by a magistrate.
