FAIRVIEW, N.C. (828newsNOW) — Following the arrest of triple homicide suspects Devan Loving, 28, and Star Grant, 16, in Sevier County, Tennessee, the duo have waived extradition, with their return to North Carolina anticipated within days.
Loving and Grant, who has been charged as an adult, were charged with three counts of First-Degree Murder and one count of Felony Conspiracy to Commit Murder on Friday, May 8 after Buncombe County Sheriff’s Office Patrol Deputies discovered the bodies of Travis Eugene Grant, 41, Kimberly Michelle Grant, 42, and Sharon Harwood Grant, 66, deceased from gunshot wounds in their 18 Ashworth Dr. home in Fairview, N.C. Loving has also been charged with Abduction of a Child.

BCSO is in the process of arranging transport for the suspects now.
“We do not yet have an exact timeline, but their return is expected within the next few days. We will continue to provide updated information on their status,” BCSO wrote in a press release.
“Our Detectives traveled to Gatlinburg to interview the suspects. Information received during those interviews led to First Degree Murder and Felony Conspiracy to Commit Murder charges. Star Grant is charged as an adult.”
